Last weekend, Brian and I went on the worlds WORST hike! I honestly thought Brian was trying to kill me. It was miles and miles......and miles of straight up rocky mountain side. At one point I sat on a rock and was wishing for a bear to come eat me so that I wouldn't have to hike anymore! I do have to say, thanks to Brian it was completely worth it! It was some of the most AMAZING scenery I have seen. At the top we had a view of Skagway, Glaciers, and a lake which was crystal clear. You could see the reflection of the mountain side. The pictures I am posting does not even give a glimmer of the spectacular views we had.

Glad it was worth it. I did Mt. Olympus last year, which is only 3 miles, but it climbs 4,000 ft, and is pretty much steeply uphill the whole way. I wasn't smart enough to wish for a bear to eat me, but I definitely would have made good bear food at the time. Still, it gave me some of the most rewarding views I've ever seen and the experience will always be with me.
